Pekin, Illinois — Pekin Life Insurance Company announced the retirement of Brian Lee from its Board of Directors, marking the conclusion of his distinguished tenure of leadership and service to the organization.

Lee began his over 42-year career with Pekin Insurance in 1983 and has served on the Board since 2017, providing strategic guidance and insight that helped support the company’s long-term growth, financial strength, and commitment to policyholders. He retired in March 2022 as President of the Life Company and Senior Vice President of the Property/Casualty company.

“Brian’s dedication and thoughtful leadership have made a lasting impact on Pekin Life Insurance Company,” said Dan Connell, Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Pekin Insurance. “His guidance has helped position the organization for continued success, and we are grateful for his years of service.”

Throughout his tenure, Lee was known for his integrity, collaborative approach, and industry expertise, earning the respect of fellow board members, leadership, and colleagues across the organization.

Pekin Life Insurance Company has elected Kevin M. Zoeller, of Louisville, Kentucky, as Lee’s successor.
