Dan Connell, CPA, is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Property/Casualty companies of Pekin Insurance. He is also the CEO of Pekin Life Insurance Company. Dan joined Pekin Insurance as controller in 1998 and has served on the Pekin Insurance Board of Directors since 2006. He was named senior vice president and chief financial officer in October 2010. In May 2019, Dan was named executive vice president and chief financial officer.  Dan was named Chairman of the Board in February 2021.

 

Jocelyn Duncan is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pekin Life Insurance Company and Senior Vice President of The Farmers Automobile Insurance Association.  She has held positions of actuarial analyst, manager of life product integration, director of life operations, and vice president – life administration since joining Pekin Insurance in 2004.

 

Joel Jackson is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Farmers Automobile Insurance Association (FAIA) and the Senior Vice President of Pekin Life Insurance Company. Joel has been with Pekin Insurance for over 30 years, previously holding positions of Field Manager, Director of Marketing, Vice President - Marketing, and Vice President - Sales & Marketing. As COO of FAIA, he oversees all underwriting, claims, sales, marketing, and information technology operations as well as the strategy office.

Tyler Petersen is Senior Vice President – General Counsel & Secretary.  Tyler began his career at Pekin Insurance in May 2017 as Associate General Counsel & Assistant Secretary.  In February of 2018, he was promoted to Vice President – General Counsel & Assistant Secretary.  One year later, he was promoted to Vice President – General Counsel & Secretary.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

He is on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association. Additionally, he is a council representative for Wisconsin on the American Institute of CPAs.
