| Here’s how Birdies for St. Jude works: | In 2011, these were D.A.’s stats: 323 Birdies 11 Eagles |
| You choose how much you want to sponsor for every Birdie and Eagle that D.A. makes during his 2012 PGA TOUR season. Thus, you will be choosing the amount of money you will be giving to help children fight the battle of their young lives. At the end of the golf season, we will tally up D.A.’s totals and inform you of your sponsorship commitment. | Pekin Insurance Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Gordon Walker has made the first pledge of the fundraiser. He has committed to $10 for every Birdie and $20 for every Eagle that D.A. makes this season. |

| “I can’t think of a more worthwhile cause that I would like to give to than St. Jude. St. Jude has the reputation of being one of the world’s premier cancer research centers. And with support from fundraisers like Birdies for St. Jude, the children will continue to receive the care that they so desperately need regardless of their family’s ability to pay. I encourage all of you to sponsor what you can for Birdies for St. Jude, and you will be saving hundreds of children’s lives.” | “Every day I watch my daughter play, sleep, eat, laugh, and do all the things that a normal two-year old girl would do. I know I take it for granted, but when I hear about the children of St. Jude who fight for their lives every day, I realize how thankful I am that my daughter is healthy. However, we never know when the tide may turn, and I would want St. Jude taking care of my daughter should she fall victim to a devastating disease. I am proud to be teamed up with Pekin Insurance for this worthwhile event. Please help with the life-saving work of St. Jude.” |
