Pekin Insurance, a multi-line insurance company with over 85 years in the insurance business, is seeking a Field Representative to cover Central Ohio. This position is responsible for agent recruitment and marketing Pekin products in an established territory. In addition will promote company products, assist in training agency force in their territory, and monitor loss ratios by agency.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelors Degree in business or related field along with experience in both personal and commercial lines of business; life and health insurance experience is a plus. In addition, candidates should also have excellent communication, time management, and organization skills.

Position includes a base salary plus commissions. Benefits include company vehicle, health/dental/vision, pension and 401k plans.

Pekin Insurance is seeking a Loss Control Manager to handle our commercial business accounts. This individual will have five plus years experience in loss control operations, primarily with small and mid-size accounts. CSP Designation is preferred along with a Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering or related field.

The individual will also be responsible for:

• Hiring and managing Loss Control personnel
• Conducting routine audits
• Inspecting small to mid-size commercial accounts, such as light manufacturing, retail establishments, restaurants, motel, and related exposures

Must also have strong background in both property and liability analysis. This position and the department have plans for future expansion and will need an individual with strong organization and development skills. This position will be located in the home office in Pekin, Illinois.
